Kids Euro Festival:Birds of Passage (Les Oiseaux de Passage)

On Cathy's tenth birthday, her father presents her with an unusual present: a duck egg. When the egg hatches, the duckling imprints on Cathy's friend Margaux, believing Margaux is its mother.  Margaux's parents will not allow her to keep the duck because they think that that their daughter's muscular condition will keep her from being able to take care of the bird. When Cathy and Margaux learn this, they embark on a journey to save the duckling. During their journey, the friends learn valuable lessons about compassion, loyalty, independence, and friendship.

This live action feature film from Belgium is eighty-three minutes long and is presented in French with English subtitles.
