About this object

Fountain is carved from pink marble, and is a reproduction of an original 19th century terracotta fountain. Center of the fountain shows a Grecian urn with a pinecone finial and elaborate leaf handles. On each side is a swan. On the right, the swan has raised his neck and wings, on the left the swan is seated. The background shows large leaves and plants, probably laurel leaves.
