About this object

The flat flask bottle is carved on the front with water birds among lotus in a rasied white layer against a dark background. On the back are large lotus leaves and flowers carved in cameo in the same color as the background. It is made of agate or possibly smoky rock crystal. Attached to the body is a cilver cap and a silver base. The silver base is carved with floral motifs and engraved on the bottom with sprays of flowers. The cap is carved with leaves and flowers on the bottom layer, and the top is set with small cabochon stones in pink and blue. There is one stone at the very top.
