Cover in green velvet with a cut rinceau for the border. Inside vellum pages are written in a chancery hand and each page is decorated in watercolor and gold. On the title page is the black double headed eagle and all four sides of the page are the coats of arms of the various Russian provinces. On page three recto is the coat of arms granted by Nicholas I to a Greek/Italian? named Geronimo Corsini.
