This half-length portrait of Tsar Alexander III captures the emperor in his regimental uniform, decorated by the blue sash of the Order of St. Andrew First Called and on his left breast, three stars, and several badges, including the Badge of St. George.

Bust of Tsar is seen facing partly to the right. He is wearing a regimental uniform, the blue sash of the Order of St. Andrew First Called and on his left breast, three stars and several badges of various orders. Badge of St. George is at his neck.
