The picture is called London and Edinburgh Royal Mail, Descent from High Hesket and Penrith. The coach is drawn by two pairs of horses, the forward pair white and roan, the rear pair bay colored. They are driving to the left with rolling hills, wooded, behind the coach. There are three coachmen sitting on the driver's seat, with one standing on the back. Their hats are pulled down and they are huddled in their coats. One piece of luggage has the intials EHD on it. The door to the coach has a royal coat of arms on it.
