About this object
A luncheon set made in point venise lace, consisting of a runner, mats and napkins. The mats have a scalloped lace border with elaborate lacework on the corners. Along the sides are small inserts of lace. The inside has a rectangular design with one curved bump along each side and a smaller one on each edge. Around this design is elaborate lace both outside and inside. There is a flat Venise style small floral design with open areas of Burano mesh.
