About this object

A white rectangular tablecloth with a very deep filet lace border around a linen center panel. The border has groups of figures in 18th century dress, each group framed with scrolls. The central linen is a plain panel and has a border of cutwork and white embroidery. This border is punctuated with inset filet medallions of urns of flowers and Venise needle lace insets of flowers. Insets of dancing figures are placed in each corner. In one corner is embroidered No. 2. V yds.
