About this object

The background is in various materials of different colors and embroidered with silver and silver gilt threads and sewn with paste stones in blue and red and also with fresh water pearls. There are one long and four small medallions. The larger one is engraved with the Baptism and the smaller ones with the Virgin and three saints. In each corner is a seraphim, the face painted, the wings embroidered in silver threads.
