About this object

The small tightly curled horn is very dark in color. The silver cover is decorated in repousse with thistles and is set with a faceted Scotch topaz. The inside cover is partly broken. There is a chain and ring for carrying attached to the side of the hinge. There is a small silver shield on the front.
