The balls are cut to open. Each forms a triptych or diptych carved with some pseudo-historical scene. This roundel contains a tryptych. In the center is a man dressed in a 19th century military costume and a woman in empire dress. They are holding hands. It is possibly Napoleonic. The two sides contain two figures in each. They stand with their arms folded at their waists.
