About this object

The rams horn is curled back on itself so that it forms a closed circle. Attached at the end are two silver rivets to simulate eyes. The hinge for the cover is made in brass. A piece of cork is attached to the inside of the cover by a brass rivet. The hinge extends onto the cover with a double leaf design. There is an oval medallion on the cover.
