About this object
The entire outer surface of the oblong box is carved. On the cover is a tricorn hat seen against banners and various military trophies. The bottom is carved with a bust of Napolean facing to the left. He is wearing a tricorn hat and is set against similar military trophies, including a flag. He wears an order on his lapel and epualettes on his shoulders. Each end is carved with a rosette.
