About this object
The book rest has a checkerboard pattern made from light colored woods. It is adjustable so that a book can be easily seen. There are two brass knobs on top of the hinge to hold the book. There is a brass knob at each side of the hinge to adjust and tighten the angle of the rest. It rests on four wooden feet. The overall shape is a rectangular box.
