About this object

The side chairs are made in the Chippendale style. The top is slightly scalloped. It has a central support of curved and intertwined slats with shell and leaf carving. It stands on straight block legs with stretchers. It has upholstered needlepoint seats, each with an Oriental girl surrounded by foliage. .1 shows and Oriental girl with a small tea house in the back right ground. She is surrounded by foliage and trees and holds flowers in her hands.
