About this object

The bureau is made from mahogany. It is made in the Regency style. It has a plain top with an overhanging edge. There are three small drawers at the top, each with a keyhole but no knobs. Below, and recessed, are three larger drawers with two knobs each and a keyhole in the center. The three lower drawers are flanked by turned doric columns. The bureau stands on carved wooden feet with knobs.
