About this object
Large rectangular piano with the works removed so that it could be made into a desk. The area that had housed the keys now opens to reveal four drawers, eight cubby holes and the writing surface. The four carved legs are decorated at top with a leaf cluster from which hang two balls. The legs end in carved scrolls under which are octagonal shaped feet.
