About this object

The table is tambour-shaped, and stands on tripod feet with a lower shelf between them. The top is covered with a slab of white marble and is edged with an openwork brass railing. The body has three panels each with a simple flower spray in marquetry. Between them are narrow vertical panels, one above each of the three legs which are angular and slightly cabriole. Between them is a lower round shelf with a flower spray as above. The front panel on the body is a tambour that slides away to reveal three drawers.
