About this object

The tureen is oval in shape. On each side of the tureen is a long landscape in blue with houses, trees, people, and roads, in a landscape scene. The borders repeat those on the platter. The two handles are shaped like grotesque faces and are painted in blue. The foot is oval in shape. The cover has borders as well. On the top of the cover is a handle shaped like a crown. All of the pieces have borders with elaborate decorations.
