About this object

These are from the Soldiers of the American Army series. It shows in the center, two soldiers dressed in the uniforms of the Continental Artillary. The one on the right is standing and turned slightly towards the other. He points to the other soldier with his right hand. He holds in the crook of his left arm, a staff. The soldier on the left is leaning over. He holds a bucket in his left hand and a ramrod in his right. They stand on a grassy knoll. The center has a thin gilt band around it as does the outer edge.
