About this object
Background colors are turquoise and white with a good deal of gilding. Bowl is in openwork with a wreath of gilded flowers inside and three gold bands. Outside there are various motifs in white touched with gold and a border with jewels in blue, green, pink. Lower part is turquoise with a pedestal foot which has very elaborate decoration of acanthus leaves in white with gold and sections with turquoise. Base is in turquoise and white with gold. Four lion's feet in gold and four masks of old men in clusters of acanthus leaves,
