The ground is turquoise-blue, the neoclassical shape is distinctive, the bowl is suspended from four rectangular legs topped by gilt lion masks in high relief, and ending in lion's paws, these rest on a square base with incurving sides which in turn rests on four metal bun feet. The bowl has four panels reserved in white, each painted with a winged putto seated on a cloud, one with a bow and arrow, another with a dove, a third with a quiver, and a fourth with a spray of flowers.
