About this object

Lowest third of glass is cut into sixteen facets. Each face contains a horizontal branch sprouting seven leaves on each side. Between two gold bands the upper part is decorated with a gilded, tooled lyre set among gilt sheaves and surrounded by gilt and silvered flowers. On the other side is a large silver rose and gilded leaves. Two wide gilt vertical bands separate the decoration.
