About this object

The goblet is made in clear, colorless glass. It is faceted, and engraved on the bowl is a scene of a stag running through a meadow bordered by woods and a stream. Between the two trees is an armorial depicting a deer against a shield and topped by a fanciful urn with a rearing deer. The bowl is hexagonal and on a pedestal, hexagonal foot. Baluster stem is faceted on six sides as is the foot. The engraving is of unusually high quality.
