About this object

The bowl of the centerpiece has a flaring rim which is scalloped. Then there is a narrow band of raised diamonds. The main part of the bowl has alternating panels of channeling and octagonal bosses. The foot of the bowl is octagonal, and cut underneath with a sunburst. The stand has a baluster stem cut with large diamonds and three cabriole legs cut leaves on the knees, scroll feet.
