About this object

The vase is bulbous in the lower part and has a long thin neck. There is a band of leaves at the top, followed by a cross hatched band and a swag of vines. The central body has an elaborate gilded design with ovals, stylized leaves and flowers. The pedestal foot has a knob and there are gilded flowers on the flat base. The stopper is a round faceted ball.
