About this object

Lower part of the tumbler is cut in a fine diamond pattern. Upper part is decorated with engraved swags of leaves and flowers hanging from bowknots that meet in two crossed cornucopia. Above this is the cipher E II for Catherine the Great with the imperial crown above it. The base is faceted in 14 sections and bottom is cut in a sunburst pattern. No pontil mark is apparent.
