About this object

The smooth lip of the goblet has been cut in and gilded all around. Most of the body of the bowl has been cut into a fine diamond pattern. On the bowl of the goblet is affixed a white glass medallion with a gilt edge. Painted on it in sepia tones is a finely painted miniature of General Wittgenstein in profile facing left and inscribed in Cyrillic italics with name: Count Wittgenstein. Foot has pie crust edge and is not cut on the underside.
