About this object

Conical bowl is elaborately engraved with the imperial eagle on one side and the cipher of Elizabeth I (Elizaveta Petrovna) on the other beneath the imperial crown. Between these two are decorative motifs. Only some traces of gilding remain. Stem is decorated with a small faceted proper knop above a faceted inverted baluster, with both of these placed above a small faceted proper knop. There is a small decorative bubble within the stem. Base is plain.
