About this object

Ray pattern, peacock eye pattern. This bowl is the same shape and design as the others, but there is sharper definition of detail. The triangular sections in the central ray are more finely stippled, and on outer rim, the general background has the same mesh of round bosses. There are no stars around the edge. In the medallions, instead of the round bosses, the design is pressed diamonds. The edge is double scalloped, that of the shape of the bowl, and on that a tiny pie crust type scallop.
