About this object

The extremely heavy glass beaker is cut with a series of interlaced ridges and diamond patterns on the sides. In a smoothly polished medallion is engraved the phrase "I drink to the health of the person I love with all my soul" in Russian. Beneath this is a large knop, its edges cut with a diamond pattern. Base is flower shaped and engraved underneath.
