About this object
Duchess faces to the left and wears her hair dressed high and adorned with roses and curls falling over her shoulders. About her neck is a string of pearls with a pendant. Her bodice is in brocade with lace showing at the top and a spray of roses at the left. A robe is thrown over her shoulders. The skin and various textiles are distinguished by different polishing of the surface.
