About this object
The slab has been broken off to the left on a slant. It is carved in high relief within a raised frame. It depicts four nude figures. To the left is a young man and the god, Pan, both of whom support the drunken Silenus in between them. At the right is a man in profile. He stands with his arms behind his back. Pan stands with a bowl between his legs on the rocky ground. He leans forward to the left in support of Silenus.
