About this object
Empress Catherine is facing forward and slightly to the left. On her head is a wreath of laurel leaves and a small kokoshnik. Her hair is combed straight back from the forehead and curls fall down on each shoulder. Part of her bare breast shows. Bust rests on a turned base.
