About this object
The seal is carved from a dark and highly polished quartz. The main portion of the seal is a pillar which tapers very slightly toward the top. This is carved with a design of acanthus leaves which surrounds a small smooth rectangle. The upper part of the foot is rectangular and ribbed, while the lower part is oval. The seal is uncut.
