About this object
The seal has a top which is a ball made from a solid piece of malachite. It is attached to a lower part made in ormolu. The ormolu is a smooth pedestal next to the malachite, joined to a central section that is engraved with a leaf and flower sscroll. Below this is another smooth pedestal and the round base which has a rope deisgn around the edge. The malachite has a button of ormolu at the very top. It is cut on the bottom.
