About this object

Exterior square tall leather case with topstitched brown leather. Topstitching reinforces corners and lid. Leather topstitched seam. brass feat on rear and brass gromets. Two brass rectangular latches and locks. topstitched leather handle is broken and broken detatched piece is inside. Yellow, blue and white vertical stripe with yellow cirlce with blue M on lid. Yellow diamond on center front. no markings on brass latches or lock plates. Brass feet on bottom and "M". Interior lild lined in quilted green satin, quilted in diamond shaped motif. Lid had green elastic strap reinforced by two grommeting brown leather tabs; strap has two metal buckles, one detached and safty pinned on. Horizontal brown leather strap on lid bottom fastened by brass studs, at either end there is leather strap also fasted by grometted studs in vertical orentation that joins lid to bottom of case. Interior bottom lined with green vinyl, pl back has leather tab with brass hoop, pl side remnants of elastic strap that is lost that was fastened with square leather tab, front pl has brass loop fastened by leather tab, center bottom has leather strap that is broken and remnants of missing elastic, leather tab on pr side has remnants of missing elastic.
