About this object

Vertical rectangular Hartmann trunk with yellow laminate covered wood with vulcanized tan rubber binding with brass hardware. Brown leather handle on top PL. Interior: PR silk velvet cushion on lid red, plainweave cotton pannel with brown stripe from center that hangs vertically with two leather straps with snaps that fasten to lether covered baseboard at trunk bottom. Steel hanger frame that extends with eleven wooden hangers, steel harware on either side, wrapped in faux leather vinyl, bottom plain weave linen cover that buckles into lower baseboard creating a compartment. PR, series of five vinyl covered removable drawers. Upper drawer has metal lock with divder. Interior of drawers is tan vinyl. Second, third and fourth drawers with two straps on interior with buckes that are engraved "Hartmann". Fifth drawer has silk panel with metal buckle that fastens to back of drawer to make compartment, tacked into lower back of the drawer, buckle ready "Eagle". Key found, once unlocked turn lock to release trunk door.
