About this object

Labeled "Plastic for Draperis Pavilion DR. Room/Icon/Library/Dining Room" on side handwritten paper label; (not able to open). This series of trunks was presumably used for storing closing-the-house supplies for each room, as labeled, in the Hillwood mansion. After Marjorie Post’s departure from Hillwood to Camp Topridge for the summer or to Mar-A-Lago for the winter, a crew stayed behind to close Hillwood.
