About this object
The off-white pillbox frame is covered in white organza; the sides are densely covered with applied flowers, each 3.5” in diameter with white stamens. Some petals are sheer, others are opaque. Under the top of the crown the hat is lined with filet lace which shows through a filter of organza on the outside. The maker’s name is stitched in yellow thread, approximately 4.5”W x 1.75”H
