Bandeau is made of magenta silk satin with a front closure, ornamented with a flower made of eight (8) radiating petal shapes in the same fabric, creating a 5.5” flower with the center filled with thirty four (34) “stamen” crafted in the same magenta fabric wrapped in gilt thread, finished with an upright cluster of fine black exotic feathers [Ibis] approximately 13”H. The bando is wide at the back, 6.5”H and narrows with two pleats on each side to approximately 3”H behind the flower. The piece is lined with matching, hand-stitched silk crepe.
