About this object
Rectangular, white, cotton top sheet with one edge of filet type lace. Above lace edge is a design of white and grey flowers on a vine with leaves. Inset filet lace with floral pattern in swags and an open medallion at center. In the center of medallion is a grey and white embroidered crest with Spiritus gladius in a bannerol below. The entire crest is surrounded by a circle of embroidered flower. Outlining the lace insert are lines of embroidered grey and white flowers. At each peak is a circular lace insert outlined with the embroidered flowers and with a white embroidered bird in flight at the center of the circle.
