The cup and saucer have cartouches that are raised and gilded, depicting scenes of nature and of St. Petersburg. On the cup there is one scene of nature, one scene of the Rostrol columns, Kazan Cathedral and Nevski prospect. On the saucer, cartouches depict 2 nature scenes, 2 scenes of St. Petersburg- one Falconet statue of Peter the Great and the other of Kazan Cathedral. Ground of cup and saucer is blue overprinted with design of scrolls and dots.
