This is a view of a large sailing vessel moored in the middle of the Neva River with the Palace Embankment behind. The Admiralty tower is visible in the distance, with the Winter Palace and the Hermitage just to the left of it in the far distance on the right hand side. The gates of the Summer Garden can be seen to the far left A long boat is being rowed by sailors at the right. Another is at the left, and other small boats can be seen in the distance.
