About this object
The box is rectangular in shape. The cover is larger than the box and is engraved with leaf sprays. In the center of the cover is an oval medallion with a blue enamelled ground. It contains an N below a crown, both of which are set with crystals as is also the border of the oval. There is an enamelled cartouche around the medallion. The sides and bottom are engraved with sprays and leaves.
