About this object

The eight bells are graduated in size. They hang on leather straps supported by bolts extending from a horse-shoe shaped iron frame which is attached to the wall. There is a triangular piece of hatched and crimped copper attached to the frame in the center. A wooden hammer on a chain is attached to an iron scroll.
