Front of handle in relief is seal of Florida with In God We Trust, then a palm tree with an alligator and the word FLORIDA. In bowl a relief of a fort, a key, etc. and labeled KEY WEST FLORIDA. Reverse of handle has in low relief a tepee, canoe, paddle, tomahawk and bow and arrow exactly as on one of the western spoons.
