On tip of handle is a bust of Washington labeled The Seal of the State Washington, 1889. Below the seal is a laborer and the name WASHINTON on a banderolle. Below this a sheaf of wheat, then a fir tree. Bowl is gilt and has a view of a large railroad bridge spanning a river with falls, labeled SPOKANE FALLS SPOKANE, WASH. On back is a view of a mountain labeled Mt. Ranier and below this some workmen's tools.
