On tip of handle is a bust of Lincoln so labeled, nest a small bilding labeled CABIN 1809. Next a house labeled LINCOLN HOME. Then on a banderolle Springfield Illinois, and branches of leaves, then a monument labeled MONUMENT. In the bowl is a relief of a house labeled LINCOLN HOME SPRINGFIELD ILL. On the back of the handle are two buildings, one labeled STAFF CAPITOL, and the other FORDS THEATER, 1865, and an eagle.
