About this object

The spoon has a medallion at the tip of the handle. Depicted is the head of a man facing right and labeled "Wilhelm Tell". Below is a leaf motif and then the handle is twisted. In the partially gilt bowl of the spoon is a relief of William Tell walking with his son.
